Mumbai- Nokia is gearing up to come up with a new app called Nokia Play To. This app is presently in the beta stage.
The Nokia Play To will enable users to wirelessly share media over the network.
This app is equipped with DLNA which helps various portable devices to seamlessly share media on the cell phones so that users can click and transfer photos to their server.
It will also enable users to play music from their handset. The app is presently in the development stage.
DLNA has earlier been used on media players, televisions and Android smartphones.
Users owning handsets like that of Nokia E7 or N8 which runs on Symbian^3 operating system can log on to their Wi-Fi network at home and easily share pictures, songs and videos from this handset.
